Altitude is our weekly environment that gives 7th and 8th grade students their own place to explore and grow in their relationship with God and others. Every Tuesday at 6:30pm, students will experience games, great worship music, hear a message designed specific to their age and connect in a small group with the same leader and students each week.

At Grace, we believe that life is not meant to be lived alone and relationships are formed in circles, not rows. We also believe that small groups are the glue that hold everything together and as we grow larger, we should grow smaller.

In small groups, students will be able to connect with a consistent, caring leader and the same community of friends each week, as well as be able to grow together and share life together.

Life can get incredibly weighed down. We can find ourselves living in a clutter of burdens and concerns; becoming disciples of lesser gods like “doomscrolling” and “despair.” In God’s great compassion for His beloved creation, He provides a better way. A factory reset so to speak. Jesus provides example after example of practical, everyday ways we can live in step with His Spirit, yoked to His way. We’re reminding students that they don’t have to wait for permission to access this factory reset. An incredible use of their free will could look like breaking every cultural norm of a weighed down life—from allowing creation to inspire wonder and worship to simply getting good rest and drinking enough water. (Things teenagers need more than they sometimes realize.) This series challenges students to choose two out of eight possible God given “factory-resets” each session that will help them regulate, recenter, and live in the joy and fullness Jesus offers.
